Description

Over 2, 680 acres of water, woods, wildlife and land make up the Summit Lake State Park. This park is an excellent camping area with several convenient amenities for your comfort. Birdwatching and wildlife observation are thriving activities at this location. Swimming, boating, fishing and water skiing are also popular activities in the large lake on the property. Picnic areas, boat ramps, cross country skiing trails, hiking trails and canoe, paddle boat and rowboat rentals are available for your enjoyment.

The park offers four hiking trails that equal about five miles when combined. The trails are mostly of moderate difficulty, one is handicap accessible. The trails offer a close up look at the beautiful tree groves, open fields and a wildflower meadow.
